Ironline Security wishes to welcome R. Gabe Cavazos to it’s leadership and consulting teams. Gabe brings with him over fifteen years IT experience, and a decade in higher education and web application development and remediation. He holds a position as Director of Research Information Systems at the University of Texas at Dallas, which recently had nearly $100 million in research expenditures.
Gabe joined UT Dallas in 2007 while working on dual-degrees in computer science, including a specialization in networks and telecommunications. Bringing with him prior experience in environmental health and safety, and further research support at the University of Texas at Pan American, he enjoys “finding answers to problems that have never been addressed and creating new applications and approaches to enhance current solutions.” Through non-profit board experience, Gabe has a background in outreach and coalition building, while also enjoying interests as a full-stack web developer, skeptical photographer, and guitarist.
